I’m Frie Ranft, an executive coach in Madrid. I collect only what I need to answer you, send you what you ask for, and work with you. This page explains what, why, and who helps me do it.
Who is responsible
Friederike Ranft, sole practitioner (autónoma), NIE Z4252008A, frie@frieranft.com. I follow the EU GDPR and Spanish data protection law. For anything about your data, write to that email.
What this site collects, and why
Contact form. Your name, email and message, so I can reply and arrange a first conversation. The form service Formspree passes your message to my inbox and keeps a copy for a limited time.
Course waitlist. Your email address, so I can tell you when the course opens. Handled by Formspree.
Framework downloads. Your name and email, so I can send you the PDF you asked for. I store the request in my website’s database, and the email goes out through Resend. If you tick the optional box, I also send you occasional updates by email. You can withdraw at any time.
Coherence Index. Your name, email, your answers to the 18 questions and your calculated scores, so I can create and email you a personal results report. They are stored in my website’s database, linked to your email address, and I can see them. In a private admin area I can see your name, email address, completion status and overall score; your individual answers and detailed scores are also stored in the database, are not shown in that admin area, and only I have access to them. The Coherence Index is a tool for self-reflection. It is not a diagnosis.
Legal basis
Contact form, downloads and Coherence Index: your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Waitlist and optional updates: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. Working together: our agreement (Art. 6(1)(b)). Invoicing and taxes: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)). Website security logs: my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Automatic scoring
The Coherence Index calculates your scores automatically. They are for your own reflection. I make no decisions about you based on them, and I do not profile you.
What this site does not do
It uses no cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising tools, and it embeds nothing from social media. Fonts are served from my own site, so there is no cookie banner. I don’t sell your data or share it for marketing.
Who helps me
Vercel hosts the website and briefly keeps technical request logs (pages visited, browser type, IP address) for security and troubleshooting. Neon runs the database for download requests and assessment results, in Frankfurt. Resend sends the automated emails. Formspree receives the contact and waitlist forms. Google runs my email. Some of these companies are based in the US. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, I rely on the providers’ standard legal safeguards.
If we work together
For proposals and agreements I use Google (email and Drive), Calendly (scheduling), DocuSign (signing) and an AI assistant, Claude, from Anthropic, to help draft them. If you choose to message me through WhatsApp, provided by Meta, I use it only for brief check-ins and scheduling. Email works equally well. I enter names, goals and contract terms. I never enter the content of our sessions. I don’t record sessions.
My tax and accounting advisers, Hispabelsa, receive the data needed for invoicing and taxes. Agreements and invoices are kept as long as tax and commercial law require.
In pair coaching, what each partner says in a joint session is shared between you both. What we discuss is confidential, and I share it only as we agree in writing, when the law requires it, or to prevent serious harm.
How long I keep data
Contact messages and waitlist emails stay until they are no longer needed or you ask me to delete them. Download requests and Coherence Index results are deleted 24 months after they were created.
Your rights
You can ask me for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to how I use it. Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to frie@frieranft.com and I will answer within one month. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
Data protection officer
I have not appointed one, because the law does not require it for a practice like mine.
My services are for adults. If my practices change, I will update this page and its date.
